R Dog, written R-dog by its maker Robot.com, is a four-legged concept robot built to finish deliveries where wheeled robots stop and to carry advertising people notice. It is announced as coming in 2027. It sits alongside Robot.com's other machines, including the R Noid humanoid, the Kiwi sidewalk delivery robot and the Cargo logistics robot, and the company says its robots already operate in ten countries across five continents. Its other products show the same focus on practical robots for delivery, logistics and public-facing work.
R Dog is aimed at businesses that move goods or buy attention in physical spaces. Delivery operators, food-service contractors and campus or building managers are the clear fit, while out-of-home advertising teams and brands can use it as a mobile display. Robot.com serves Fortune 500 customers in the USA, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and invites interested organizations to talk to its sales team or become a partner.
The pitch covers two scenarios. In delivery, a legged robot can take the last stretch of a route, such as steps, uneven ground or building entrances, where a wheeled unit has to hand off. In interactive advertising, the robot walks through public spaces as a moving billboard, an approach Robot.com ties to its Times Square and four-continent campaign results. Robot.com also references warehouse and logistics automation through its Cargo robot and a partnership with Formic for facility deployments. Sodexo, Grubhub, GXO and AWS appear among the logos on the company's customer list, which gives a sense of the industries it serves.
