Notion AI brings agents, search and meeting notes into the Notion workspace where a team already keeps its documents and projects. The Notion Agent can build, edit and take action on anything you can do in Notion, completing multi-step tasks with context from your workspace, connected apps and the web. Custom Agents handle work that repeats, and they are free to try before costing $10 per 1,000 credits. AI Meeting Notes capture summaries and follow-ups without a meeting bot, and Enterprise Search, currently in beta, looks across apps such as Slack, Google Drive and GitHub.
The product is aimed at teams, not only individuals. Operations and AI leads can set up agents once so the whole team benefits, product managers can triage feedback and turn brainstorms into roadmaps, and admins get usage and analytics dashboards, custom permissions, governance controls and the ability to switch any workflow to a different model without losing context. The Free plan lets individuals trial AI features, while the Business plan adds the agents, meeting notes and search. Security statements cover SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and CCPA, no training on customer data, and zero data retention and HIPAA support for Enterprise.
Example workflows listed include onboarding a new hire, going from brainstorm to roadmap, automating weekly reporting and triaging product feedback. A Ramp operations lead describes having an agent for anything repetitive, and a marketing vice president at Braintrust says agents become useful once they have full context across Slack and Notion. Meeting teams can skip note-taking, and anyone hunting for an answer scattered across tools can search in one place. Premium connections extend the reach to GitHub and Asana.
