Learn Your Way is a Google experiment that re-imagines textbooks for individual learners. It transforms source content into a dynamic, engaging learning experience tailored to the person using it. The demo draws on OpenStax material across subjects including astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, English language arts, economics, health, history, philosophy, psychology and sociology, with chapters such as Atoms and Molecules, An Overview of Economic Systems and Intro to data structures and algorithms. It combines Google AI research with learning science and was developed with pedagogy experts. A waitlist lets visitors sign up to upload their own PDF, and a technical report explains the research.
Learn Your Way is aimed at students who find static textbooks hard to engage with, from secondary school through introductory college courses. Teachers and instructional designers can explore it as an example of how learning content might be adapted to different learners.
