Generative AI by Getty Images creates images from text prompts that are cleared for commercial use. A prompt builder with optional fields, filters for photo or graphic style, color, mood and aspect ratio, and reference images give control over the result. Image-to-image generation lets you add a reference, including your own upload, to steer color scheme or composition. Every image can be downloaded directly and licensed in several resolutions and sizes.
Marketing teams, brand designers, agencies and social media managers are the main audience, especially in organisations where legal review slows down stock imagery. The generator is built so that recognisable people, logos and other copyrighted elements do not appear in outputs, and the AI agreement carries Getty Images legal protection and indemnification from USD 50,000 per generated image. Images you generate are never offered to others for licensing, which protects your own concepts. Custom subscriptions are available for larger teams.
Typical uses include building campaign visuals for online ads, creating social posts in the right aspect ratio, and producing product shots. For the latter, you upload a product photo and describe a setting, from studio looks to realistic outdoor scenes, or pick a reference image; the background is removed automatically and a new scene is generated. Afterwards you can add, replace or remove objects, expand an image to make room for text, or create extra sizes, and strip the background for a transparent cutout. A recent model upgrade adds more realistic lighting and surface textures, more precise prompt following and better text rendering.
