Apple Intelligence is the AI layer built into Apple devices, and its newest generation centers on Siri AI, a conversational assistant that understands personal context. Siri can take actions in Messages, Music, Reminders and other apps, and a dedicated Siri app keeps conversations in one place across iPhone and iPad.
Anyone who owns a supported iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch or Apple Vision Pro is the audience. Students and professionals can brainstorm ideas, draft messages and get written help wherever they type with Write with Siri. Photographers and casual shooters get editing tools in the Photos app, and creative users can generate images in Image Playground. Drivers can ask Siri questions in CarPlay without taking their hands off the wheel, and users who prefer a different feel can adjust the voice, expressivity and pace.
Everyday scenarios include splitting a restaurant bill, checking nutritional information on a dish, or adding a card to Apple Wallet through Visual Intelligence in the camera, and asking about a screenshot on Mac or iPad by tapping, circling with Apple Pencil, or looking at an item on Vision Pro. In Photos, Spatial Reframing changes a composition after the shot, Extend grows the edges of a picture and Clean Up removes distractions. Image Playground generates and modifies images in virtually any style, including photorealistic. Siri AI is rolling out in English, and usage limits may apply to some features.
