Plaud NotePin is a wearable AI note taker that records conversations and turns them into transcripts and summaries. You wear it as a lightweight device, capture a meeting, call or in-person chat, and the audio is transcribed and summarized by AI. An Ask Plaud feature answers questions about your recordings, and a locate function helps find the device when it is misplaced. Every NotePin includes a free Starter Plan with 300 minutes of transcription per month, with Pro at 1,200 minutes and an Unlimited plan for heavier use.

The audience is professionals who spend their day in conversations and cannot stop to type: salespeople on client calls, consultants, lawyers, healthcare staff, finance advisors, real estate agents and educators. Plaud publishes tailored use cases for each of these groups, and offers eligible members such as students, educators, healthcare workers and military personnel special terms. Teams can look at Plaud's business solutions and a Team plan, and developers can integrate through a device SDK, API, MCP and CLI.

Typical scenarios include recording a sales call and getting structured notes afterward, capturing a patient conversation as clinical notes, documenting a client meeting without taking handwritten notes, and saving class discussions as organized teaching notes. Because the device is worn rather than held, it suits people who move between meetings and want hands-free capture. Recordings can be reviewed through the Plaud mobile app, web app or desktop app, where transcripts, summaries and questions to Plaud all live together in one place.

6 questions
What does Plaud NotePin do with a recording?
It captures audio, then AI produces a transcript and a summary. You can also ask Plaud questions about what was said. Results are available in the mobile app, web app and desktop app.
Who is NotePin best suited to?
Professionals who need hands-free capture, including sales, consulting, legal, healthcare, finance, real estate and education. Plaud lists use cases for each field. It describes NotePin as lightweight for everyday wearable capturing.
What can I record for a client meeting?

Is there a free transcription allowance?
A free Starter Plan gives 300 minutes of transcription per month. The Pro Plan raises that to 1,200 minutes, and an Unlimited Plan removes the monthly cap. Extra minute packs of 600, 3,000 and 6,000 are sold as add-ons.
