Tempo is an IDE for whole product teams, built so designers, product managers and engineers work in one place on the real codebase. It turns customer feedback, issues and product requirements into reviewed pull requests while AI agents do much of the drafting and the team approves key decisions. Design canvases are code in your repo, built from your actual components and tokens. Specialized agents handle triage, specs and designs, bug fixing and feature building. Coding agents run in parallel on separate branches, each with its pull request and CI status visible in one view. Apps are available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
The product serves small and mid-sized software teams where designers and PMs want to contribute directly to the code, and where engineers want agents to take on routine work. Designers get a prompt-first canvas they can tune pixel by pixel, PMs write specs and clickable prototypes on top of real code, and engineers run agents across multiple worktrees. Founders with a small team but a long backlog will find the idea of directing many agents appealing. Teams that already pay for coding agents can bring their existing subscriptions into the same client.
A typical workflow starts with a bug report in a feedback channel, such as a CSV export that fails on Safari. The Triage Agent turns it into an issue, the Spec and Design Agent drafts a PRD and clickable screens, and the Bug Fixer Agent reproduces the problem and opens a tested pull request. Feature requests such as trip sharing links or saved search filters follow the same route, with a Feature Builder Agent working on its own branch. Teams track issues as they move, link docs and designs to each one, and review all pull requests before merging.
