facts

If you try to edit some CSS, it sometimes goes totally idiot mode and drives me crazy.

And sometimes, even when I don’t ask for that kind of thing, Claude suddenly starts doing something out of the blue and ends up nowhere. This happens especially after the chat goes on for a while.

Honestly, it starts to feel like the main goal is just to make you spend more tokens.
PROS
good at start
CONS
goes total retard after a while

not really good for logo design

It only creates shitty SVGs, unlike ChatGPT.

I gave the same prompt to chatgpt... see the result :)
PROS
coding, website design
CONS
logo, 3d mascot

Solid templates but AI editing feels limited compared to newer tools

Beautiful.ai has genuinely good automatic layout adjustment — slides reflow as you type and the template quality is high. For someone who just wants clean-looking slides without much fuss, it delivers.

Where it falls short is the depth of AI assistance once you're inside the editor. You can adjust content within the predefined SmartSlide types, but if you want to ask AI to rewrite a section, swap out imagery based on context, or restructure a slide, you're mostly on your own. The AI layer feels more like a layout constraint system than a true editing assistant.

PROS
Excellent auto-layout system, high-quality templates, slides always look professional without manual spacing work
CONS
AI editing is shallow — can't prompt AI to rewrite or restructure content mid-session, PPTX export locked behind paid plan, limited flexibility outside predefined SmartSlide types

Gemini
AI CHATBOT
★★★☆☆ 3.0

Gemini still has a long way to go when it comes to coding.

I’m using Claude for my side projects, but I was curious to see where Gemini stands, so I gave it a try on a simple project.

I gave it very clear instructions, but it only completed around 60% of what I asked. Once it got into the more detailed parts of the implementation, it started failing pretty badly.

For simple stuff, it’s okay. But when the project requires following detailed instructions and actually putting all the pieces together, there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
